Cami Boyd is the Chair of the Intellectual Property Practice at Musgrove Law Firm, P.C. in Dallas, Texas. Ms. Boyd is an intellectual property and business attorney with more than 26 years of experience. Ms. Boyd’s intellectual property practice is extensive and encompasses trademark law, trademark clearance, registration and portfolio management and enforcement, copyright law, copyright registration, management and enforcement, patents, trade secrets, trade dress, licensing, e-commerce, internet and social media law, cryptocurrency, cybersecurity and data protection and management, domain name disputes, national and global licensing of trademarks and other intellectual property assets and intellectual property litigation. Ms. Boyd’s business law practice includes general corporate and business law matters, business formation and funding, general and local counsel representation, mergers and acquisitions, and start-up business representation.
Ms. Boyd has considerable experience representing clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the USPTO Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and the World Intellectual Property Organization, and routinely prosecutes and defends trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings, and appeals, both foreign and domestic, and UDRP proceedings.
Ms. Boyd represents clients in United States State and Federal Courts in connection with a wide variety of Intellectual Property and Business disputes, including trademark and copyright infringement, patent infringement, counterfeiting, dilution, contract and business disputes, employee/contractor disputes, unfair competition, trade dress infringement, trade secret misappropriation as well as commercial litigation.
Ms. Boyd has considerable experience in the monetization of intellectual property assets and inventions, including art work, film, video and television projects, and photography.
