Andy Horwitz is a writer and cultural producer based in Los Angeles. His essays have been published in The Atlantic Magazine (online), the Los Angeles Review of Books, The Guardian (UK), Art Practical, TheatreForum, The Live Art Almanac and Dancehouse Diary (Melbourne, Australia), among others. He founded the website Culturebot.org in 2003, editing it until 2014. Andy is a 2014 recipient of the Creative Capital | Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant for his project Ephemeral Objects: Art Criticism for the Post-Material World (ephemeralobjects.org). www.andyhorwitz.com.
